The next generation steamboilers

Combi boilers are boilers with an external water-cooled burner. This boiler is suitable for high-capacity and high-pressure uses. This boiler is also available as a hot water boiler.

The capacity of a combi boiler is between 20 and 80 t/h with a pressure of between 0.5 and 45 bar(g).
As a hot water boiler, its capacity is between 18 and 60 MW. The maximum water temperature that can be achieved is 200 oC.

The combi boiler is the preferred option when a fire-tube boiler isn’t a suitable solution, and a water-tube boiler doesn’t make financial sense.

To achieve better efficiency, an economiser can be installed. It makes optimum use of the waste heat and water in the steam boiler or hot water boiler. This leads to remarkable efficiency gains and significant (cost) savings.

The combi boiler can be equipped with a superheater, making it possible to reach steam temperatures of up to 440 ºC.
